USMC 3D MAW Band

3D Marine Aircraft Wing Band
Having served in hotspots Fallujah, Iraq and Helmand, Afghanistan, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band Members stationed at the Fourth Marines Musicians Memorial Band Hall "The Last China Band", 3D MAW, Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, San Diego, CA still face peace time hazards such as maintaining marching order even when following the beloved Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard equestrian unit, pictured below.

As in the second of two July 2, 1951 Reno, Nevada Rodeo Parade photos above, United States Marine Corps Band Members march straight through those real as well as metaphoric obstacles.

Since their Persian Gulf duty however, events including the Rose Parade on New Year's Day in Pasadena, CA, photo below, have been placing USMC Musicians near the front.
